A tractor trailer operator was trapped for three hours following a rollover crash on the Mass. Pike eastbound in Millbury on Saturday.
The crash occurred around 7 AM.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, the truck driver — a 51-year-old New York resident — was traveling on the Pike in a 2015 Freightliner when, for reasons still under investigation, the truck went off the right side of the road just beyond Exit 10A and rolled over a guardrail

The man was trapped in the wreckage for about three hours before members of the Millbury and Auburn Fire Department were able to remove him. He was then transported to UMass Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
State Police were also assisted on scene by Auburn EMS, Worcester Ambulance, and MassDOT.
