TV Series Starring Chris Evans to Film in Worcester’s Grafton Hill on April 4

WORCESTER – Paramount Television will be filming on Ingleside Ave in Worcester’s Grafton Hill area on Thursday, April 4.

Paramount will be filming scenes for Apple TV Plus — Apple’s new streaming service —  series “Defending Jacob” starring Marvel’s “Captain America” star, Chris Evans.

According to the Hollywood Reporter: “Created and written by Mark Bomback (Planet of the Apes trilogy) based on William Landay’s bestselling novel, the limited series comes from Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Oscar-nominated Morten Tyldum (The Imitation GameCounterpartJack Ryan) is attached to direct the series and executive produce.”

“Defending Jacob is described as a a gripping, character-driven thriller based on Landay’s 2012 novel published by Random House. The book tells the story of a father dealing with the accusation that his son is a 14-year-old murderer.”

The filming will take place at 7 Ingleside Ave from 11 AM to 2 PM. There will be no parking on Ingleside Ave from Clarendon St. to Plantation St. from 7 AM to 3 PM.

The limited drama series, “Defending Jacob,” will also star actors Michelle Dockery and Jaeden Martell.

Apple TV Plus will be launching sometime this Fall.
