WORCESTER – Two teenagers were arrested on Saturday afternoon in Worcester for breaking into a vehicle parked at a Northboro St. home and stealing a gold bracelet.
According to the Worcester Police Department [WPD], the teens, both 15-years-old from Worcester, were seen going through a motor vehicle by the vehicle’s owner around 12:25 PM.
The owner told the WPD that one teen was acting as a lookout, while the other searched the inside of the vehicle. A gold bracelet that was inside the car was stolen by the suspects.
Officers searched the area and found the two male suspects at the corner of Hamilton and Standish St. One of the males was wearing a gold bracelet.
The victim was brought to where the two teens were found and he identified them as the two that broke into his vehicle. He also identified the bracelet as his.
The two males were placed under arrest and charged with Larceny over the Value of $250.00 and Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle with the Intent to Commit a Felony. They will be arraigned at the Worcester County Juvenile District Courthouse on a date yet to be determined.
The property was returned back to the owner.
