Worcester Firefighters Battle Heavy 3-Alarm Fire on Westminster St.

WORCESTER – A three-alarm fire raged at a home at the corner of Westminster and Perkins Street near Lincoln St. in Worcester late Monday afternoon and into the early evening.

The fire started in the attic and spread to the roof of a single-family home at 41 Westminster St.

According to fire dispatch, firefighters were advised to take the defensive on the fire and there are reports of the roof collapsing.

No injuries have been reported.
