Two Dead in Northborough Home Shooting; Police Investigating

NORTHBOROUGH- Two people are dead after a shooting late Tuesday night in a Northborough home, according to District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

It was reported to police that an argument ensued between the two people — leading one person to shooting the other and then turning the gun on themselves. 

The shooting occurred at 18 Pond View Way. One victim was pronounced dead at the home when police arrived. The second person was transported to UMass Memorial Hospital, but was pronounced dead. 

State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and Northborough Police are investigating.

The names of the deceased are being withheld until all family members are notified. 

State Police and Northborough Police have determined there is no threat to the public.
