The 22nd Annual UMass Cancer Walk and Run is taking place virtually this Sunday, September 13.
Registration is still open for those interested in participating.
The event’s live programming will start at 10 AM and will feature guest speakers, including cancer researchers, clinicians, UMass medical staff, and community leaders.
The event will also showcase special guest and Worcester native, Ricky Duran, runner up of NBC’s The Voice Season 17.

“Your place, your pace” will begin at 10:30 AM — allowing participants to begin their remote walk or run from their location of choice. No specific mileage is required. Photos and videos should be shared to social media platforms on or before Sunday. Be sure to tag @umasscancerwalk in your posts.
To date, $373.7k has been raised towards the cause. Supporters wishing to donate or start a fundraiser can do so at umasscancerwalk.org.
