Up to 30 MPH Winds Expected in Worcester on Sunday

WORCESTER – The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued a wind advisory in the Worcester area for Sunday.

The advisory is in place from 7 AM to 7 PM.

West winds between 20 to 30 mph with gusts between 40 to 50 mph are expected. 

The NWS is warning residents that gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and tree limbs could be blown down, resulting in power outages.

Residents are advised to use extra caution when driving and to secure outdoor objects.
