WORCESTER – As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported on Thursday, Jan. 11, a suspect was arrested and charged with 14 counts of vandalism for spray painting more than a dozen Shrewsbury Street businesses and homes.

On Friday morning, the Worcester Police Department released the name of 25-year-old Kyle Nelson of 22 Bowdoin Street, Apartment 2, Worcester as the suspect.

According to the WPD, during their investigation other properties in the city were also found vandalized including areas in the Worcester Common Oval and businesses on Green Street.

On Thursday, Nelson was charged with 14 counts of defacement of real or personal property.
