WORCESTER – Up to two inches of rain is expected to fall overnight tonight in the Worcester area, according to the National Weather Service [NWS].

The NWS has issued an update to their previous Hazardous Weather Outlook for Worcester County: “Bands of heavy rain with possibly embedded thunder may result in isolated rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches this evening and overnight. This may be sufficient for minor poor drainage flooding especially in urban areas.”
