UPDATE: Webster PD Releases Info on Kidnapping Suspect

WEBSTER – The Webster Police Dept. is still investigating a reported kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred last week.

As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported on Sunday, according to the Webster PD, on Friday, May 31, a 12-year-old girl was approached by a male in a vehicle at May Street Park. The male asked the girl to go with him to help a friend. The girl got in the car and is believed to have been taken across state lines into Connecticut.

In Connecticut, the man sexually assaulted the girl.

The girl was then dropped off somewhere near Chase Ave. in Dudley. According to police, the girl ran to a nearby home and called her mother.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a two-door black car with a light interior. The suspect is described as white with blond hair and a skinny face. The suspect also described as having light facial hair growth at the time of the incident.

Webster Police Detectives are working with Detectives from the Connecticut State Police, as well the District Attorney’s Office.

Anyone with information is asked to call 508-943-1212, or email [email protected] Police are also asking that if anyone has any surveillance video, or still pictures from the area of May Street Park from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm to contact the Webster Police Department so that they can be viewed.

Police are also asking that anyone with surveillance video or still photos of Lake Parkway and/or Thompson Road from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM on May 31, to please contact Police so they can be viewed.
