WORCESTER – The National Weather Service has updated their forecast ahead of the coming nor’easter and now say that the Worcester area will see 10 to 15 inches of snow, with some areas getting upwards of 18 inches.

The forecast calls for heavy snow starting at 11 PM on Monday night and ending late Tuesday evening. Between 1 to 3 inches of snow will fall per hour at times along with blowing and drift snow during the early hours of Tuesday.

Travel will be hazardous and visiblity will be extremely low. Tree branches may come down due to strong winds.
