Two Teens Arrested in Worcester for Firearms, Ammunition

WORCESTER – Gang Unit officers served a warrant on Friday, June 17, leading to the arrest of an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man.

Jayden Vellon, 18, of Worcester, left a Lawnfair Street address around 5:30 PM and was detained by police. Police say Vellon had firearm in his waistband when he was detained.

Officers entered the residents and found Carlos Rosario, 19.

Inside the residence, police say they located two handguns, magazines and ammunition.

Vellon faces charges of:

  • Carrying a Firearm without a License;
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm;
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device;
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card; and
  • Two counts of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card.

Rosario faces charges of:

  • Two counts of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card; and
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
