WPD Vice Squad Arrest 4 Worcester Men for Dealing Heroin

WORCESTER – Four Worcester men were arrested on Thursday night after Worcester Police Vice Squad officers witnessed one of them driving around on a motorized bicycle and dealing heroin on Stoneland Rd. 

According to the WPD, around 6:45 PM, officers conducting surveillance in the area saw Adalberto Rivera, 44, of Canterbury St, driving around  on a motorized bicycle.

While driving around, Rivera went vehicle-to-vehicle, making transactions and leaving with money. Officers stopped one of the vehicles, and found two bags of heroin on the suspected buyer.

When Rivera was returning to a garage on Stoneland St., officers stopped him and placed under arrest for distribution of heroin.

Three other men — Edwin Torres, 28, of Grand St; Joel Caraballo, 37, of Southgate St; and Jose Martinez, 26, of King St. — were in the open garage.

Officers found paraphernalia and heroin in the garage. The three men were placed under arrest.

The officers were granted a search warrant, and a search of the garage produced a stolen dirt bike, rounds of .40 caliber ammunition, bags of what appeared to be heroin, and bags of what appeared to be fentanyl.

  • Caraballo is charged with Distribution of Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), Conspiracy to Violate 94C Laws, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.
  • Martinez is charged with Distribution of Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), Conspiracy to Violate 94C Laws, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.
  • Torres is charged with Distribution of Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), Conspiracy to Violate 94C Laws, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.
