CHARLTON – The Worcester County District Attorney’s office announced on Friday the identities of the two victims in a fatal crash that closed Route 20 in Charlton for over three hours on Thursday.
Joseph Tomlin, 25, of Sturbridge, was operating a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle on Route 20 on Thursday, when the motorcycle crashed with a 2015 Subaru Legacy near Tree House Brewing. Tomlin and a passenger of the Subaru, Diane Dwyer, 58, of Webster, both died as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and other agencies.
