Treat yourself to events in the city or opportunities you can access in your home! 

Munch on some sweet desserts, listen to punk rock music, and take a tour of America like you have never seen it before.  

 

Go on a summer road trip – without leaving your driveway! 

You are invited to be the passenger to American Heritage Museum’s Summer Road Trip series!

This Saturday from 5 PM to 8 PM you will be able to take a tour of America’s history.

You will virtually step foot into rare tanks, including a German panther, a Russian IS2, and an American Sherman tank. You can find this tour and more on their website

 

Redemption Rock Brewing will have you craving breakfast for dinner!

This Saturday, from 4 PM to 8 PM, the Burgundian Coffee and Waffle food truck is pulling up to Redemption Rock Brewing! Burgundian Coffee and Waffle will be serving up a tasty selection of sweet and savory waffles.

Pop on over to a delicious pop up event! 

All Purpose Bakery is packaging their regular and gluten free desserts to hold a pop up event in the parking lot of the Greendale’s People Church on 25 Francis Street.

They will be showcasing their Reese’s Cup whoopie pie, which won first place at the Maine whoopie pie festival. They will also be offering donuts, cookies, cinnamon rolls, fudge, and much more.

You can order your desserts ahead of time and pick them up and they prefer credit cards to be used for payment. All attendees should wear a mask and maintain a safe distance from each other. 

 

 

Wish your favorite wizard a very Happy Birthday! 

July 31 marks the birthday for the beloved fictional character, Harry Potter. Muggles and witches are all invited to join Franklin Public Library for their virtual celebration taking place over two days.

This Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM, your little ones will love putting on their wizard robes and dress up like their favorite characters.

Join the library for crafts and activities you can download at home and post all your pictures to their event page. 

 

Summer is concert season! 

Attend a social distant-friendly concert this Saturday.

From 2 PM to 11 PM, you can turn your living room into an arena by tuning into the Worcester Palladium’s free live stream of the band All Time Low.

You can jam along to the punk music simply by using their provided link to see the free concert
