The Weather This Week and Into the Weekend in Worcester

For Wednesday Afternoon: Cloudy skies are expected for this afternoon with temperatures in the middle 40s.

Wednesday Night Through Thursday: Spotty light rain is expected this evening with the steady, heavy rain expected from after midnight tonight into Thursday morning.

A cold front is expected to push through the region late tonight and early Thursday morning. Moderate to heavy rain is expected to accompany this front between about 2 am and 8 am Thursday morning. In addition, an isolated thunderstorm or two is also possible very late tonight and early Thursday morning.

The rain will quickly end by 9-10 am Thursday morning with some sunshine possible during Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures tonight will be in the low 40s. Temperatures on Thursday will start out in the mid to upper 40s during the morning, but will fall into the upper 30s during the afternoon.

Southeast winds will gust up to 30 to 40 mph at times tonight. On Thursday, South winds will gust up to 30 to 40 mph during the morning with West winds gusting up to 30 to 40 mph during the afternoon.

Friday: A mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected on Friday and it will be colder with high temperatures near 35 Degrees.

This Weekend: A sunny, but chilly weekend is expected across Central Mass. High temperatures on both Saturday and Sunday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees.
