Last Updated: February 3, 2021

For Friday Afternoon: Generally partly sunny skies are expected this afternoon. It will continue to be windy with wind gusts of up to 35 to 40 mph expected. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the mid to upper 30s.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy skies are expected tonight and the winds will finally diminish. Low temperatures tonight will be between 20 and 25 Degrees.

Saturday: A trough of low pressure is expected to move through Central Mass during the afternoon. This means that any morning sunshine will give way to more clouds than sunshine during Saturday afternoon. In addition, a couple of snow showers are possible during the afternoon. With that said, most areas will likely stay dry on Saturday. High temperatures Saturday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees.

Sunday: Lots of sunshine is expected on Sunday with high temperatures near 35 Degrees.

Next Week: A more stormy weather pattern is expected for next week across southern New England. While the entire week isn’t expected to be stormy, there will be quite a few storm systems to keep an eye on.

Monday is expected to be cloudy and there may be some scattered rain showers during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees.

The first in a series of storm systems will affect our weather on Tuesday. This means that skies will be cloudy on Tuesday and there will be some rain during the afternoon. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.

The second and third storm systems are forecast to affect our weather from Wednesday into Thursday.

So, rain is expected on Wednesday and Wednesday night. It is possible that the rain may change to some snow at the very end of the storm late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Any snow will probably be short-lived with mostly dustings in the way of accumulation.

We may have to keep an eye on a fourth possible storm system for next Friday that is forecast to move near Southern New England. For now, next Friday looks cloudy and there could be some mixed snow and rain across areas south of the Mass Pike.
