WEBSTER – Webster Police arrested two juveniles on Monday, September 6, who both face armed robbery charges.
A report of two juveniles robbing a 62-year-old woman came into the Southern Worcester County Communications Center just before 6 PM. One juvenile reportedly had an electronic stun gun.
A Webster Police sergeant identified both boys as they ran. The sergeant apprehended one suspect while an officer set up a perimeter and supported the search with a police K9, eventually catching the other.
Police released a 13-year-old to parents of one juvenile.
The Department of Youth Services took the second juvenile, 16-years-old, into custody.
Both individuals face charges of Armed Robbery while masked.
The 16-year-old also faces possession of an Electronic Stun Gun, and Assault and Battery on a person over 60.
No money was stolen during the robbery. Worcester Police said they took cigarettes and JUUL packs. All of the items were recovered by police.
