Listed below are my best week 5 Draftkings Cash Game Plays (Sunday Main Slate beginning at 1:00 PM EST).

These are contests where the goal is to finish in the top 45% of the total standings to win twice your dollar entry. We’re targeting players who will score 2.5 times their dollar value. (Example: an $8,000 player that scores 20 points or better is ideal for cash games (8 x 2.5 =20).

The type of player we want is one that has a “high floor” — meaning we want players who will likely get the most touches in great game specific situations and opportunities to succeed in a particular week. No need to be sneaky and worry about ownership percentages. Simple, right?

Quarterback

Dak Prescott $6,800 – .Last year, Dak shredded the Cowboys for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns and 315 yard and 3 touchdowns in their two matchups, and that was before Dallas became a heavy passing offense. He has a high floor due to his rushing ability and a high ceiling due to the favorable matchup with the weak Green Bay secondary. If I am paying up at the position i’ll take an underpriced Prescott with no worries.

Other plays: Josh McCown $4,500 Brian Hoyer $4,700 Aaron Rodgers 8,100

This Week in Fantasy Football: Week 5 Cash Game Plays 1

Running Back

Le’Veon Bell $9,500  Bell is expensive, but he’s worth every penny at this point. He’s getting 20+ touches per game and is another high-floor/high-ceiling play that simply will not fail to produce. He has a nice matchup against the Jaguars who are dead last in the NFL against the run and the Steelers are 9 point favorites at home. Don’t get cute here and lock in Bell as your RB1.

Carlos Hyde $6,900 Another player getting 20+ touches per week, Hyde is a great play against the lowly Colts run defense. He seems to have overcome his hip injury from week 3, as he’s managed to play through it for two games. Hyde is also on pace for 70+ targets this season, so the volume is really too good to pass up.

Other plays: Todd Gurley $8,000 Ezekiel Elliott $8,800 Duke Johnson $4,900 Andre Ellington $4,600

Wide Receiver

Dez Bryant $6,500 The Cowboys take on the Packers in the highest predicted total scoring game of the week, and Dez has an amazing matchup. Obviously if I like Dak Prescott as much as I do, I have to like his #1 wideout in a plus matchup. His price is so cheap for what he actually is as a receiver making it impossible to fade in cash games. He will probably be the highest owned player of the week, so in a great spot like this, we don’t want to get caught fading Dez.

Devante Parker $6,800 Parker is also in a really favorable situation this week against the Titans who have been getting thrashed by outside wide receivers every week this season. Devante has really been the only bright spot for the Dolphins this season, and is a safe play with big time touchdown upside against a cornerback that he holds a six foot height advantage on.

Other Plays: Pierre Garcon $6,100 T.Y. Hilton $6,000 Aldrick Robinson $3,100 (if Marquise Goodwin is out) Randall Cobb $6,200 (if Davante Adams is out)

Tight End

Austin Seferian-Jenkins $3,500 Outside of Bilal Powell, ASJ is basically the entire Jets offense at this point and his price still hasn’t move despite getting heavy volume the past two weeks. He seems to have great rapport with Josh McCown, and is in what could be the best matchup of the season for him as they face the Browns, who have been giving up massive fantasy production to tight ends so far.

Other Plays: Evan Engram $4,000 Charles Clay $4,800 Martellus Bennett $4,100

Defense – Steelers $3,900, Bills $2,600, Eagles $3,100
