The winter weather is blustering this Saturday and Sunday, but don’t get caught out in the cold this weekend! Heat up with hot events taking place near you.

Connect with nature this Sunday! 

Take a class to learn about one of the sweetest parts of the season.

This Sunday from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Legacy Church and Cooking with Mrs. G will be holding a Maple Sugaring Workshop at 659 Central Turnpike in Sutton.

This workshop will teach you how to identify the right maples, tap maple trees, and make a batch of syrup on the stove. Once you have witnessed the process, you get to taste the maple syrup with homemade waffles. Tickets are $25 for adults, and $5 for children 12 or under who accompany a ticketed adult. 

Laugh away the work week stress!

Spend the night out this Saturday at Samuel Slater’s Restaurant. The restaurant will be hosting a comedy night! Starting at 8 PM, Three (More) Funny Ladies, featuring Kerri Louise, Emily Ruskowski, and Maya Manion, will be taking the stage.

Tickets are $20 per person. The show is 21+ event.

Jam out to the music of a cultural icon!

Relive the 80’s by going to Rascals in Worcester for their Prince Tribute band, LoVeSeXy.

LoVeSeXy has been a featured act in the Boston JazzFest 2016, and delivers a high energy performance of a range of Prince’s music.

The show starts at 9 PM. Get your tickets ahead of time for only $10. Tickets are $15 at the door.

It’s time to get on the Ziggy Bomb train! 

Ziggy Bombs is popping up at Wormtown Brewery this Friday and Saturday in Worcester with a full menu of steaks, sides, and appetizers. Ziggy Bombs does unique takes on the classic steak and cheese. 

They will be serving up their steak and cheese sandwich, Flamin’ cheetos steak and cheese, and their spin-off of the McDonald’s Big Mac, the Zig Mac. Pair it with French fries, onion rings, nacho bombs, and more!
