Spring is in the air! Welcome in the new season this Sunday with fresh and exciting fun for the whole family.

Spring into new opportunities with ThisWeekinWorcester.com’s list of fun and safe events. Take in the view in the city and enjoy what Worcester has to offer, or stay inside to re-energize yourself with virtual events at your fingertips. Devote your free time to learning new skills, giving to the community, or treating yourself to relaxation.

Spend your Saturday standing up for a good cause!

Give back to the community this Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM with the Feed the City Food Drive.

Alongside Jubilee Worcester Church and El Bueno Samaritano Food Program Inc., the Worcester County Food Bank, The Central Community Branch YMCA, and The Evergreen Center is fighting to end food insecurity in the city.

You can help by stopping by this Saturday to donate food and help contribute to the cause.

Treat your puppy to a doggone good time!

Join PetSmart in Millbury for a dog training class that will test your dog’s intelligence.

Sign your furry friend up for their Brain Games Training Class. This 6 week course is a fun and challenging class for all ages and breeds of dogs. The class trains your dog to read cue cards, differentiate colors, and more! This class is designed for intermediate dogs who are trained in basic commands.

Go wild, and try a new class this weekend!

Get adventurous on Saturday by joining Lone Fox Taxidermy in Sterling, MA, for a Life-Size Squirrel Taxidermy class.

From 10 AM to 5 PM, learn the unique art of taxidermy. Each ticket includes all necessary material, including the taxidermy form of your choice, eyes, and a basic mount for your squirrel. Masks are required in the workshop and it is limited to 3 people per class to follow appropriate social distancing guidelines.

Celebrate the new season!

Welcome in the Spring equinox with a free virtual Spring Equinox event

Tune into Facebook live at 3 PM this Saturday and follow Indigenous Wisdom and Pink Moon Collective to begin a new season fresh and as a new beginning.

The fun starts with a burning ritual to release negative energy from the past seasons, and the event will also include the opportunity to purchase healing crystals and jewelry.

What is the best part of spring? Baby animals!

View Boblink Yarns and Must Love Yarn’s Facebook Live stream for their peak into the lamb barn. Take a look at these newborn lambs for free and learn about sheep, lambing, and yarn production in New England!
