April showers bring May flowers! It’s the first full weekend of May, and Worcester is growing a garden of fun for the weekend lineup. Check out ThisWeekinWorcester.com’s list of five fantastic events happening this weekend.

Redemption Rock Brewing Co. on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester is hosting MADE Market, featuring local shopping, gourmet coffee, delicious craft brews, food, sweet treats and more.

The market runs from 11 AM to 3 PM

Attend a tasty competition! 

Head to the Spencer Fairgrounds this Saturday for the Worcester County Food Truck Showdown.

Celebrity judges will choose the best food truck in Worcester County for 2022. You can get involved by voting for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award. The event features dozens of artists, crafters and vendors, live entertainment, games, prizes and more!

Tickets are $5 for adults and children under 12 are free.

Get your heart racing this Saturday!

On Saturday at 12 PM, the Craft Brew Races return to Worcester for an exciting 5k followed by a craft beer festival! Enjoy a relaxed run (or walk) through downtown Worcester and acknowledge your accomplishment. with an amazing craft beer event at Worcester Commons. 

Beer festival-only and Designated Driver tickets are also available. This is a 21+ event.

It’s all about mom this weekend at Oakholm Brewing Company!

Cheers to mom this Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. Come celebrate the mom(s) in your life with a picnic in the beer garden, specialty beer cocktails, and delicious food from Pups & Holm Cookin.

Oakholm will also have live music by Sage King from 2 PM – 5 PM, a horse drawn wagon ride, new lawn games, and bouquets & hanging planters for sale by Lone Birch Blossoms.

Cultivate some fun this weekend!

Hopkinton Garden Club’s annual spring plant sale is being held on Saturday.

All the fun blossoms from 8 AM to Noon, and the spring plant sale will be located on the Hopkinton Town Common.  Club members will be selling annuals and perennials, many dug from their own gardens. Come and find a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, herbs and house plants.
