5 Great Ways to Spend Your Weekend in Worcester

The rain finally cleared just in time for the start of the weekend. Clear up your calendars for events that will brighten up your Saturday and Sunday.

Do you have plans yet for the weekend? Reconsider them with ThisWeekinWorcester.com’s list of five fun events taking place this Saturday and Sunday. 

There is so much to do this weekend in the Worcester area! Find venues for live music, tasty food and drinks, or for family fun that is just a quick drive away. 

 

Find unexpected treasures at the Brookfield Orchard’s Flea Market!

Vendors will be selling their antiques from 9 AM to 3 PM this Saturday and Sunday at 12 Lincoln Road in North Brookfield. Minutemen Kettle Corn will be present, selling their delicious popcorn and refreshing lemonade. Hot dogs will also be for sale, so work up an appetite as you search for hidden treasures. 

 

Treat your children to an unforgettable weekend!

Take your children to North Attleboro’s Firefighters Kid’s Day, a fun carnival set up for the family from noon to 11 PM. The event is taking place at North Attleboro Middle school at 564 Landry Avenue. You can purchase special wristbands ahead of time for unlimited access to the rides, or you can pay for tickets for the rides at the carnival. 

 

Spend time under the stars! 

This Sunday from 4 PM to 9 PM, enjoy a night out with friends at the Grafton Grill and Crust at 10 Bridge Street in North Grafton. The Grafton Grill and Crust will be holding their Shopping Under the Stars event. Come to listen to live music and browse goodies from local vendors. You can also indulge yourself with wood fired pizza, ice cream, and cocktails.

 

Be on the lookout for some special finds this weekend!

Join the town of Clinton as they hold their Town Wide Yard Sale, which is arranged by the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department. The yard sale will be happening at Central Park at 242 Church Street in Clinton this Saturday at 8 AM. Sellers will reserve their booths with an $8 fee. All are welcome to look for some great funds for your home. 

Enjoy a calm day on the pond this Saturday!

Paddle Day in Medway will surely float your boat this weekend! From 1 PM to 5 PM, join the Medway Lions Club at Choate Park on 7 Oak Street for their boating event on Park Pond! Everyone is welcome to bring their boats, kayaks, or canoes for a fun day on the water. All participants must register ahead of time. This event is free!
