A heatwave is sweeping the city this weekend. Cool off and get some fresh air this Saturday and Sunday with fresh events going on in Worcester. Get out and find shade or soak up the sun with socially distant and safe fun.

This Saturday support your local businesses by celebrating the grand opening of OneZo.

OneZo is opening its doors at 129 Water Street and to serve sweet milk tea with boba. Stop by on Saturday or Sunday for a buy one, get one free deal to kick off their business. 

 

 

Feel tropical this weekend without leaving the city!

Peppercorns Grille and Tavern at 455 Park Avenue will be treating you to another outdoor activity.

Join them this Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM for their Music and Margaritas with the Island Castaways event. Stop by for an afternoon of tasty food, beer, margaritas, and Jimmy Buffet music performed by the Island Castaways.

This Saturday is going to rock!

The Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness is bringing positivity to the neighborhood with their free rock painting event this Saturday from 1 to 4 PM.

All are welcome to this neighborhood craft and the materials will be provided by the arts and wellness center. Express your creative talents on some rocks and put them around the neighborhood or around your home to make someone’s day and support the community! The Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness asks that you make a reservation, so they can prepare for a day of fun. 

 

People are buzzing about Worcester Public Market’s Honey Extracting Demonstration!

Fly down to the Worcester Public Market located on 150 Green Street for a show all about our natural environment.

This sweet event is hosted by Hillcrest Apiary and the apiary will be extracting honey to teach children where their food comes from. If you are busier than a bee, don’t worry; the demonstration will be taking place from 12 to 5:30 PM. 

 

Add a new workout to your morning routine!

Get out and sweat with Rise and Shine Yoga and Stand up Paddleboarding (SUP). The SUP class puts yoga on the water and the paddleboard becomes your mat. This workout focuses on increasing your balance and core strength while connecting you to nature. The class is being held at Regatta Point Community Sailing from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.

Buy your tickets ahead of time. Tickets are $40 per person and classes include all equipment that are needed.
