Put all your white clothes in the closet,  Labor Day is this Monday! Besides a change in your wardrobe, Labor Day also means a three day weekend!

Start September with relaxation. ThisWeekinWorcester.com has your list of five exciting events going on during your three day weekend.

An extra day off, means an extra day to fill with fun. Take your friends and family out for live music or fairs, or treat yourself to a much needed break from the same old routine.

Find family fun that isn’t too far from home!

The Spencer Fair is opening its doors this weekend. Come on down with the family any time between 8 AM to 5 PM from September 3 to September 6.

This year is sure to be a hit with pig races, barnyard animals, and all types of festivals.

Get ready to rock this Sunday!

Stay up late this Sunday at Ralph’s Rock Diner. The diner will be blasting with music as four bands play on their patio. The line-up starts with Leiko, a group from Providence. They are followed by the Salem natives, the Bad Larrys.

To end the night, local bands, Scare City and Shirts and Skin will be taking the stage.

The music starts at 7 PM and it only costs $7 for your way in to jam along!

Stop and smell the sunflowers!

Appreciate a beautiful view as you appreciate the movements of your body at Sunflower Festival Yoga at the Farm at Summitwynds in Holden.

Join yoga instructor, Julie, this Sunday from 2 PM to 3 PM for a vinyasa style yoga class overlooking the farm. All levels are welcome to join. Be sure to bring a yoga mat or towel!

Do you like seeing the fashion of the past?

Check out the Marlborough Historical Society’s collection of vintage wedding attire. See how couples used to dress to tie the knot, including a look at bridesmaids dresses, wedding gowns, men’s attire, and even “unmentionables.”

This collection will be shown until September 5, so stop by from 2 PM to 5 PM to enjoy the local history.

Sing your heart out!

Sing away all the stress from the week at Husky Pub’s Karaoke night.

This Sunday from 7 PM to 12 AM, choose from a wide selection of songs and their artists to fill the pub with music. Come with friends to harmonize or come alone for your own solo!
