It’s the first weekend of October! Spooky Season has arrived, and it is coming with all kinds of festive fun!

Begin the month with outdoor activities across the city. Fill your Saturday and Sunday with festivals full of seasonal food and lots of fun. 

 

Get festive on the mountain! 

This Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM, put on your lederhosen for a memorable event! Wachusett Mountain, in partnership with Greater Good Imperial Company, is hosting their 4th annual Oktoberfest

There will be food, drinks, German music, and a craft and farmer’s market. General admission for adults is $9. 

 

Attend the tastiest fair of the season! 

Indulge your taste buds at the Saint Spyridon Grecian Festival! This weekend the Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 102 Russell Street in Worcester for their Gyro Fair

Enjoy authentic Greek food, including gyros, souvlaki, and pastries. The fair also features a live DJ! Admission to the event is free. 

 

Have a sweet treat this weekend! 

Autumn is apple season. Celebrate apple season at 13th Dudley Grange Apple Festival and Craft Fair

From 10 AM to 4 PM, grab hamburgers, hotdogs, French fries, apple cider donuts with coffee, ice tea, apple cider, lemonade and more! There will be live music including fiddlers! You and your family will love the live music, the smoke house, and vendors. 

 

Get your heart racing with a fun racing event! 

Join the Quaboag Riders Motorcycle Club this Sunday at 11 AM for their 2021 New England Motorcycle Hillclimb Championship.

Sign-ups for racers are $25 and start at 8 AM. Spectators tickets are $15. Have fun at their final hillclimb and grab concessions, too.  

 

Did you hear the word on the street?

The band “He Said She Said” will be jamming at Whiskey on Water!

Dance to the beat this Saturday. Music starts at 9 PM, so get ready for a fun night!
