Make this month “No problem November” by finding ways to unwind after the work week!

Try something new this weekend, and find a fun, stress-free hobby. ThisWeekinWorcester.com has your guide to five fabulous events happening over the holiday weekend! Savor this Saturday and Sunday, and set time aside for self-care and relaxation.

De-stressing is easy this weekend. Enjoy a drink with friends or use it as your outlet.

Get some holiday shopping done early!

Check out the Winter Fair at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church at the corner of Southbridge Street and Cambridge Street.

The fair will include baked goods, plants, crafts, books and baskets for sale, as well as silent auction items and more. The fair starts at 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM.

Celebrate the diversity in Worcester this weekend!

This Sunday at 3 PM, take a seat at Mechanics Hall in Worcester for their Night to Remember Folk Guardians event. This show is free to the community, and it focuses on the richness and diversity of the city.

The show will feature traditional folk dances from countries with African heritage. You can look forward to Samba Viva with the Afro-Brazilian dance Maculelé, Tribe Rise with Haitian and Colombian rhythms, followed by the sound and cadence of some Afro-Dominican dances interpreted by Ritmos Dance Studio, and more!

Send your student to a class they want to join!

Clark University is opening their doors to middle and high school students. This Sunday at 10 AM, Clark University students will teach their passion to local middle and high schoolers for a day, during a nationwide program called SPLASH.

Students will choose from classes ranging from women’s self-defense to discussions about the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Plan brunch with your pals this weekend!

Sip and socialize this Sunday at noon. Canal District Wine is inviting you to join GM Brittany Kurowski to taste two bottles of bubbly paired with fresh juice.

The event is only for 4 tastes. Enjoy 10% off featured wines purchased at time of tasting.

It is never too early to be in the holiday spirit!

Tis’ the season this Sunday at Workshop13 in Ware. At 3 PM, relax with a Paint N’ Sip event with instructor Nan Hurlburt!

Nan will show you step-by-step how to use acrylic paints on canvas to create your very own unique seasonal artwork. The class is $40, and all materials are included.
