UPDATE: The Declare Winter Parking Ban in Worcester is lifted at 10 AM on Saturday, February 20.
WORCESTER - The Commissioner of the Public Works and Parks in Worcester has ordered a Declared Winter Parking Ban will go into effect on Friday, February 19, at 5 PM.
According to the National Weather Service, a total daytime accumulation of one to three inches of snow is possible with additional accumulation of less than one inch is possible overnight.
During the Declared Winter Parking Ban, there is NO PARKING on either side of main arteries, bus routes, and streets in the downtown area. On all other streets, city ordinance permits parking only on the odd numbered side of the street, unless otherwise posted.
