Snow and Ice Predicted to Impact Commute Monday & Tuesday

WORCESTER – A winter storm watch has been issued to be in effect from Sunday evening through Tuesday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) heavy mixed precipitation is possible across northern Connecticut as well as central and western Massachusetts.

Accumulations of snow may range from a coating up to two inches but another half-inch of ice is also possible.

NWS warns if potentially hazardous conditions during morning or evening commute, power outages and tree damage.
