WORCESTER – A 31-year-old woman was assaulted by two suspects at a Dunkin Donuts drive thru on Chandler St. on Wednesday.

According to the WPD, just after 4 PM, officers responded to the JK Mart at 211 Chandler St. There they met with the female victim who told officers she was in her car in the drive thru line at Dunkin Donuts when she heard banging coming from the rear passenger side of the vehicle.

The victim told officers that a male and female were standing near her car and the male was hitting the vehicle with an umbrella. The victim got out of her car and told the suspects to stop hitting the car. The male swung the umbrella and hit the victim in the chin, leaving a three to four inch laceration. The female began punching the victim in the head. The victim managed to get into her car and drive away.

Worcester EMS arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a localhospital to have her laceration treated.

The male suspect was described as Hispanic, approximately early 20’s, 5’7”, short curly hair, wearing jean shorts and a red shirt. The female suspect was described as Hispanic, early 20’s, approximately 5’6”, curly hair in a bun, wearing a head band and a gray shirt.

The Worcester PD is still currently searching for both suspects.
