Woman Found in Trunk of Burned Car in Hope Cemetery was Dancer at Mario’s Showplace in Webster

WORCESTER – Last week, the body of a female victim was found in the trunk of a burned out car in Hope Cemetery in Worcester.

According to sources close to the investigation, the victim was a dancer at Mario’s Showplace — an adult entertainment club in Webster.

As of Tuesday morning, Dec. 19, the Worcester Police Department had yet to release the name of the victim.

The Worcester Police announced on Wednesday morning, Dec. 13, that they are seeking the public’s assistance of anyone that was in the area of Hope Cemetery on Tuesday morning between the hours of 8:15 AM and 9 AM.

The WPD also hopes to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the crime. They are asking anyone that may have seen a pedestrian being picked up by another motor vehicle either inside or outside the cemetery. See photo below.
