37-Year-Old Woman Stabbed at Storage Facility in Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY - Police responded to a 911 reporting a stabbing at Extra Space Storage on Clinton St. around 4:45 PM on Wednesday, April 28.

Detectives and officers arrived to find a 37-year-old female with a severe stab wound to the neck. According to Shrewsbury Police, the weapon was a broken glass tube.

Officers provided medical attention until Worcester EMS arrived to transport the woman to the hospital. The victim’s injuries are serious but not expected to be life threatening.

Boylston Police and a K9 unit provided support in a search of the area.

Shrewsbury Police report a judge issued a warrant for a suspect in the case.

Police believe the incident is isolated and does not pose a danger to the public. Police request anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Shrewsbury Police at (508) 841-8457.
