Two Women Arrested after Auto Theft in Worcester

WORCESTER – Police arrested two women the theft of a vehicle left running outside a local business.

Worcester Police responded to a report of a vehicle theft near Christo’s Pizza at 40 Cambridge Street around 10:45 PM on Sunday, July 11.

Officers reviewed surveillance footage and found two females walked up to the vehicle, entered and drove away.

Shortly after officers broadcast information about the theft on the police radio, another officer located the vehicle near Hope Cemetery, which is at 119 Webster Street.

An officer stopped the vehicle and found Cassandra Bragdon, 23, of Leominster, driving the vehicle and Idalia Limon, 25, of Worcester as the passenger. Police identified them as the women in the surveillance video.

A search of the vehicle revealed a wallet previously within it was missing.

Bragdon faces charges of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny Under $1200, and Use of a Motor Vehicle without Authority.

Limon faces charges with Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Larceny Under $1200.
