WORCESTER – Massport announced on Tuesday that Worcester Regional Airport will host emergency training for multiple area law enforcement and emergency responder agencies on Wednesday, June 15. The exercise will take place from 8 AM to noon.
Residents and individuals in the area should not be alarmed by emergency vehicles responding to the airport during this time.
Vehicles using lights and sirens will be limited to airport grounds, but loud noises and/or flashing lights may be heard during the exerise.
The airport will remain open and flights are not expected to be impacted.
