WORCESTER – Police with the Neighborhood Response Team on patrol near Hawley Street arrested two individuals with active warrants for their arrest on Thursday, November 11. One faces additional drug charges.
An officer recognized Gia Graciale, 39, and Jonathan Gonzalez, 38, both of Worcester, sitting on a staircase on Hawley Street just before noon. The officer called for additional support before police approaching them.
According to the Worcster Police Department, officers found six bags of cocaine and 24 bags of Fentanyl in the possession of Graciale during the arrest.
Police arrested Gonzalez for the active warrant.
Graciale was arrested for the warrant and faces additional charges of:
- Possession of Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute
