Worcester City Hall to Open Monday by Appointment Only

WORCESTER – City Hall will reopen on Monday, January 25 by appointment-only.

The Worcester Public Library, Department of Public Works and Parks offices, and 25 Meade St. — which houses Inspectional Services, Worcester Division of Public Health and Fire Prevention — will all also open.

City Hall will be open Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM by appointment only.

All buildings will return to operating hours and capacities set prior to closing on Dec. 24.

The Worcester Senior Center will remain closed to the public, and is being used as an Emergency Dispensing Site for the vaccination of Phase 1 priority groups established by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Municipal services are available online, by phone and mail while drop boxes for the deposit of permit applications remain in place.

The Main Branch of the Worcester Public Library will reopen to the public on Feb. 1 for in-person computer appointments. Registration begins Jan. 27. Appointments are available Monday-Saturday, and can be made by visiting www.mywpl.org or calling 508-799-1655.

All libraries are open for pick-up of items on hold without an appointment. The Main Library is open Monday-Saturday, 9 AM until 5:30 PM.
