Each year, during the month of April, people around the world honor the contribution of people on the autism spectrum and recognize the need for support, understanding and acceptance of those on the spectrum and their families.

Across Massachusetts, several police departments created patches in recognition of Autism Awareness Month as a fundraiser for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. The Flutie Foundation’s mission is to help people and families affected by autism live life to the fullest.

Below are image of the patches created by 20 police departments across Worcester County for Autism Awareness Month 2022. Please contact the respective police department directly with purchasing interest.
