WORCESTER – The Worcester Fire Fighters IAAF Local 1009 held their annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising effort for the Muscular Dystrophy Association [MDA] last weekend.
Worcester firefighters were spread out at intersections across Worcester on September 25 taking donations from people stopped at traffic lights [see photos below].

On Wednesday, the firefighters union announced that they completed the final count of donations and have raised more than $19,000 during their “Fill the Boot” drive.
All of the proceeds will go towards the MDA of Massachusetts.
