WORCESTER – A promotions ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Worcester City Hall will recognize the promotions of 12 within the Worcester Fire Department.
Of the 12 promotions, one new district chief, four new captains, and seven new lieutenants will receive recognition at the event. Those receiving promotions are:
- Captain Terrence Baudin to the rank of District Chief
- Lt. John Dyer to the rank of Captain
- Lt. Jason Charest to the rank of Captain
- Lt. Michael Smick to the rank of Captain
- Lt. Jeremy O’Connell to the rank of Captain
- Firefighter Kevin O’Connell to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Blake Perron to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Philip Doherty to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Robert LaRose to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Timothy O’Rourke to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter John Tangney to the rank of Lieutenant
- Firefighter Richard Claros to the rank of Lieutenant
