WORCESTER – Lots of sunshine is expected throughout the rest of Monday with high temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees.

Tuesday & Wednesday: Cold weather will continue to affect the area tonight and into Tuesday. Clear skies are expected Monday night with low temperatures between 5 and 10 Degrees. Sunny to partly sunny skies are expected on Tuesdaywith high temperatures near 30 Degrees.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures near 35 Degrees.

Thursday will be sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees.

Friday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 39 and 43 Degrees.

Possible Long-Duration Storm For This Weekend: A coastal storm system may bring a messy mixture of snow, ice and rain to Central Mass. on Saturday and maybe even into Sunday Night.

With that said, this possible storm is still five to six days away and there is considerable uncertainty as to the exact track of this storm, as well as what type of precipitation may occur and how much.

What I can say right now is that this is a storm that really needs to be watched closely as there is a lot of potential with this storm. Also, pretty much everything is still on the table for scenarios, including an all snow event to a mixed sloppy mess of snow, ice and rain to even a snow to start with that changes to rain scenario.

For a very detailed look at what I’m looking at in terms of the weather setup for this storm, just go to Route20Weather.com.

Keep checking back for the latest updates on this possible weekend storm as I will be posting a new update at least once a day throughout this week.
