WORCESTER – Worcester Police responded to a report of an armed robbery around Charlotte Street and Woodland Street on Friday, October 29. The investigation led to a warrant for the arrest of a local man apprehended on Tuesday, November 16.
A local college student reported a man approached from behind and brandishing a knife in the early morning hours. The victim complied with the man’s demands to turn over items in their possession. The man then fled on foot.
The investigation by detectives at the Worcester Police Department resulted in a warrant for the arrest of Daivawn McClain-Robinson, 29, of Worcester, on Tuesday, November 16.
Detectives arrested McClain-Robinson at his residence without incident. He faces a charge of armed robbery.
