WORCESTER - Early this morning Worcester Police responded to a report of an alarm at Second Chance Animal Services at 831 Main Street. Officers arrived to find the front door had been shattered with a donation box and food missing.
Alex Cruz-Carrillo, a 42-year-old Worcester man, was located in the nearby area and arrested.
He is expected to be arraigned in Worcester District Court for breaking and entering, larceny and vandalizing.
