WORCESTER – Police dispatched based on reports of an argument on Millbury St. arrested a man who faces weapons charges on Sunday, April 18.
The report reached police shortly after midnight, indicating a man with a firearm involved in the argument.
Officers identified Edwin Calderon, 42, of Worcester, based on the description called into police and a male on the scene who reported he had a gun pointed at him. Other witnesses supported the claims of the man.
Officers found a .45 caliber handgun under a porch near where Calderon was standing.
Calderon faces charges of:
- Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (firearm)
- Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession of a Loaded Firearm
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
