62-Year-Old Worcester Man Faces Firearms Charges

A Worcester man faces weapons related charges after a traffic stop by a Massachusetts State Trooper on the Mass Pike on Wednesday, October 14.

The Trooper stopped a vehicle driven by Alexander Foreman, 62, at around 5 PM, on the westbound side of the Mass Pike,  after an erratic lane changed that nearly caused a collision.

The Trooper soon discovered that Foreman was driving on a suspended license.

According to the Massachusetts State Police [MSP], after Foreman was placed under arrest, he requested the Trooper to gather a bag from the vehicle. The Trooper could feel a firearm inside it the bad and unzipped it to find a loaded Bersa .380 pistol.

Additional Troopers arrived to the scene and removed two passengers, Claude Foreman, 33, or Boston, and Sandy Foreman, 59, of Arlington, from the vehicle.

A rifle case with a Winchester Rifle inside was soon discovered. Troopers also located 28 rounds of ammunition.

None of the three vehicle occupants holds a license to carry firearms. All three were arrested.

The three men face the following charges:

Alexander Foreman:

  • Possession of a Firearm
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without FID Card
  • Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, subsequent offense
  • Marked Lanes Violation

Claude Foreman:

  • Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without FID Card

Sandy Foreman:

  • Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without FID Card.
