WORCESTER – A Worcester man did the near impossible on Wednesday afternoon during a charity golf tournament at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough.

Rick King, 62, playing with Dan Woznicki of Shrewsbury, hit hole-in-ones on the 187-yard par 3 hole #1 and the 169-yard par 3 hole #5 on Juniper Hill’s Riverside course.

The odds of hitting two hole-in-ones in one round are 67 million-to-1, according to the PGA.

King and Woznicki were playing in the 4th Annual Algonquin High School Athletic Booster Club tournament.

Woznicki told ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve witnessed hole-in-ones before — including my own — but what happened today is incredible.”

Incredibly — even with the two hole-in-ones, King and Woznicki finished -13 under par and didn’t win the tournament.
