WORCESTER – A 31-year-old Worcester man was killed in a crash involving two vehicles on I-495 in Bolton on Monday morning.
The victim was identified on Wednesday as Randy Adonoo, 31, of Worcester.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, around 10:35 AM on Monday, troopers from the Leominster Barracks responded to the crash in Bolton.
The preliminary investigation shows a 30-year-old Chicopee woman, driving a 2009 Toyota Camry, was traveling on I-495 northbound near the 69.6 mile marker when she lost control of her vehicle. The Camry cut across traffic lanes striking a 2017 Lexus NX200, operated by the Worcester man. Both vehicles swerved off into the median where they both rolled over.
The left lane of I-495 was closed at the scene of the crash until approximately 1:30 PM in order to facilitate the crash investigation.
The crash remains under investigation by Troopers assigned to State Police-Leominster with assistance from State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, and Crime Scene Services Section. Bolton Fire, Bolton EMS, and Bolton Police assisted with the crash scene.
