WORCESTER – The Office of Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early announced a grand jury has indicted a Worcester man for manslaughter.
Djarflo Irving, 37, Worcester, was drinking with friends on Oread St. in the early morning hours of Dec 10, 2019.
Police arrived on the scene at 1:15 AM to find Suheil Ortiz, 21, Worcester, with a single gunshot wound to the chest
Ortiz was transported to a local hospital but later pronounced dead.
Irving was arrested later that same day .
Ortiz has been held without bail since his arrest.
