Worcester Named Among 16 Finalists for $25k Book Award; Vote Here!

WORCESTER – The City of Worcester has been named among 16 finalists for JetBlue’s “Soar with Reading” award worth $25,000 in children’s books and a local library makeover.

Worcester currently sits in third place in voting with just over 8% of the overall vote and trailing Jacksonville, FL (33.5%) and Cleveland, OH (25%).

According to Soar with Reading’s site, the program is designed to encourage children’s imaginations through reading and get books to kids who need them the most.

Voting ends August 31, 2018.
