Worcester Parking Ban Lifted at 8 PM

The Declared Winter Parking Ban in Worcester is lifted as of 8 PM Thursday, December, 17.

Municipal Parking Garages will also resume normal rates at 8 PM.

Streets with Permanent Winter Parkin Ban rules have restrictions from 2 AM to 6 PM.

Owners and occupants of any residential or business property are required to clear and treat sidewalks adjacent to any public or private way within 10 hours after any winter storm. Snow and ice must be removed to a width of not less than 4 feet for the entire distance of said sidewalks.

Sidewalks that abut crosswalks must be cleared up to the entrance of a crosswalk and around electronic signals. Non-compliance faces a $75 fine.

Trash and recycling collection is delayed one day for the rest of the week in Worcester.
