WORCESTER – Around 9 :30 PM on Tuesday night, July 31, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to 725 Grafton St. for a report of a pedestrian accident.
According to the Worcester Police Department [WPD], a Jeep struck a pedestrian crossing Grafton St. in the northbound lane. The male victim had serious injuries and was given medical treatment. He was transported to a local hospital and his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The initial investigation revealed that the operator of the Jeep did not see the victim in the road and struck him. The crash is under investigation by the WPD Crash Reconstruction Unit.
